About Us
Melvin
C. Young of Springfield, Illinois invented the "HotLine" in
1959. Mr. Young received UL approval for the "HotLine"
and that number is 440U.
"HotLine"
was mentioned in the August 1974 issue of "Popular Science
Magazine."
Mr.
Young passed away in 1979, and "HotLine" has not been
manufactured since.
In 1999

research and development has come up with the modern technology and
design that "HotLine" is today.
